The citizens of the Cheese Planet have a Great Tile Flipping Festival, which is fairly named since all this festival consists of is flipping tiles in the manner described above. The game has a zany plot to go along with zany gameplay. In the later levels, the little aliens sit on pieces or flip the ones you've already place, and pretty much try to spoil your efforts to win the game. The catch is you always have to keep one piece in the air.

The objective on each level is to flip the pieces until you match the top piece with the one below it. It is very difficult to describe the unique game concept of FlipOut!- it is most similar to those arrange-the tiles-in-order puzzles, except it’s played out on an isometric board, with mischievous aliens to make your job more difficult. Smaller items (think needle case, sewing machine feet, and erasers) are easily secured and kept from getting lost in those mesh pockets.FlipOut!* is an addictive, funny, and unique puzzler from Gorilla Systems, first released for Atari’s Jaguar console. Inside are small lightweight mesh fabric pockets (lined with fold-over elastic), which are a great way to organize what’s inside even further. You can have it zipped up to protect what’s inside from falling out as you travel to class, and once you arrive you can set it upright on the table, fold it down, and use it as a holder. Imagine you’re taking it, full of marking tools, to a sewing class. The base is circular and allows Flipping Out to stand upright and at attention on a desk or other flat surface. Or, if you’re feeling festive, off the mantle in place of Christmas stockings! There is also a fun loop at the top of the pattern that lets you hang it off a hook.

To accent the fold-line, we had fun including a bit of Renaissance Ribbon as a border on some of our models.

Flipping Out is so-named because of this pattern’s ability to fold down for easy access to whatever is inside.
